A Wise Woman (<-- her!)
in Verona, Italy, where Irene was born and raised. At just three years old, she was delighting all the parents at the annual kindergarten play by acting and singing. Despite her pixie haircut, Irene bounced her head like crazy every time she listened to music, totally captivated by its power.
By the age of ten, she was taking voice and piano lessons, and eventually performing in musical theater shows across the Northern Italy area throughout her middle school and high school years.
After completing high school, Irene crossed the ocean to pursue her passion for music, studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and a Bachelor of Music in Performance and Musical Theatre.
Now based in KAUST, Saudi Arabia, she works as an MS/HS Music and Drama Teacher at The KAUST School, runs voice lessons, and coaches local musical theater performers.
(She has also long and curly hair, and no intention of going back to her pixie cut!)
Irene found her love for the arts at 3, and she never looked back. Her strength lies in delivering raw, emotional, and inspiring performances.
She has played various roles, from Mother Theresa of Calcutta to Madame Thernardier in Les Miserable.
Irene works as an MS/HS Music and Drama Teacher at The KAUST School in Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, she founded her "Thriving Voices Studio", where she runs voice lessons and coaches young performers.
